Understanding Dogs

For my final project at University I decided to create a non-fiction book based all around dogs and the different breeds. The aim was to teach children, and adults, about the different needs and preferences each breed has- helping them choose which dog would be best suited for their family. Many dogs are bought as gifts or because 'they look cute' with barely any research into the breeds and whether they can properly take care of them and fit them into their family life. This book hopes to educate and raise awareness about the different dogs so they can be properly taken care of and live their happiest life. The use of a scrapbook style layout and illustrations helps break up the different pieces of information and not become too overwhelming, still keeping the book light-hearted.
